We are asking for support from staff, clients and the community to help make this Christmas a memorable one for children and teens that find themselves in foster care this Christmas.Unfortunately there are many children and teens who are placed into foster care when they cannot live at home with their parents or extended family due to issues of risk or safety.

In the past, all proceeds from our appeal would have been donated to Barwon Child, Youth and Family (BCYF).  BCYF and Bethany have merged and are now known as MELI.  The proceeds will go directly to MELI and be distributed to children and teens in foster care within the Geelong Region.

How can you help?

If you would like to donate, please purchase a gift and drop it into our office and we will place it under our tree, located in our office (14 Belmont Street, Belmont)

There are 59 children currently in foster care.   We are trying to provide gifts for- ages ranging from 6 months to 17 years old. However, MELI are expecting more children to come into care in December and we would love to be able to provide at least one gift for every child.
