May 2021 Lockdown Grants
The Victorian Government has two grants available for employing and non-employing businesses in sectors most impacted by the latest circuit breaker restrictions. All businesses must be registered for GST and employers need to have Workcover. Applications are open now and close on 24th June 2021.
Business Costs Assistance Package- grants for eligible business as determined by the ABN’s ANZSIC code for certain industries. $2,500 grant for business affected by 7 day shutdown, $5,000 grant for businesses affected by 14 day shutdown.
Licensed Venue Fund – grants of $3,500 for regional and $7,000 for metro Melbourne for premises that service food and alcohol. This is an alternative to the first grant for eligible businesses, they can’t get both grants.
